Futuristic Fashion: A Hot Trend Straight from the Spring 2010 Runways



SUMMARY: For Spring 2010, an interesting trend emerged which we're dubbing Futuristic Chic.  It's very Blade Runner'y, tough, and in some cases, androgynous.  In today's episode, we examine the coolest daytime looks from the Spring 10 runways, and then show how to rock the trend right away.

    Like the breezy music- good choice! Enjoy Leslie's laugh & manner. The vegetable dyed leather to look like denim was interesting.

    Rodarte was just pretty & compelling to look at.

    In my personal life I just don't have that much of a call to dress like I'm auditioning for Bladerunner despite having redneck neighbors, etc.

    I liked the Chanel doubling in the sense that it makes one actually consider the outfit in a surprising way

    I like Audrey's translation of the futuristic chic into accessible daily wear

    And yes, have to agree that silver accents & cuffs are a great look to add to just about anything - especially since silver is such a good value in jewelry right now
